In my Quora travels, I've only come across answers from a handful. I parade around here acting like I'm special and you're telling me that it's been raining adult K-pop fans the whole time?!
I can't tell you an answer to your question. My story is easy, tho. I do this thing where when I like something, I go CRAZY with it. I wash my brain in it. I listen, research, watch and share. Until I feel like I'm close to being an expert, then I move on to the next thing. I think that's what I'm doing with K-pop, but as long as I keep studying Korean, K-pop might last longer than my previous projects.
But I won't say it's getting any easier. Every day it's becoming clearer that this is a world that I'm ill-suited for living in. It's often very immature, unhealthily obsessive, full of tantrums and lots of bad information. I really don't want that kind of negativity in my life. So, we'll see if you keep this one “grown adult's" interest.

While you don’t have to tell each other everything about your past, big secrets are like cancer that can destroy the relationship and are likely to come out eventually anyway. Friendship. You spouse will probably be your best friend for the rest of your life. Do you communicate easily and clearly? Can you face confrontation and disagreement without setting off WWIII? Tomorrow, Armageddon arrives, without even waiting for an invitation. An apocalyptic event occurs. Societal structure is destroyed, food cannot be produced or distributed, even safe drinking water is scarce and law and order are non-existent. How long do we think nice will last?
