For me, It was not an incident

Yes and No. If forgetting  love  means not holding memories close to yourself anymore , I have not. However, I do not think about him on regular basis and I do not find myself craving for the person. Of-course It has been a very long time and we have developed in different personalities (I say that completely based on his social media profile as we were never in touch after our break-up). I still adore him and always will. I don't feel any resentment and I hold those memories close to my heart.
